Our story
A chef’s care, for their bowl.
Our co-founder Austin is a sous chef with seven years of professional kitchen experience. At work, he cooks for people. At home, he cooks for his two dogs: Pika, a Westie, and Ponyo, a Cavoodle.
Our mission is to bring that same care to dogs’ food, from the ingredients we choose to the way we prepare them. Because their meals deserve as much thought as ours.

It started with a topper.
Austin wanted to bring more attention to seeds, other plant ingredients and mushrooms that can be overlooked when we think about a dog’s bowl. Our Seed & Mushroom Topper is the first step in that story.
As a chef, he cares about what goes in, how it’s prepared and how it fits into a meal. This topper brings that approach to something small you can add to their usual meals.
The good stuff should be easy.
Snap off a square and crumble it over the bowl your dog already loves, or let it go straight from your hand. Most dogs decide it’s a treat. We’ve stopped correcting them.
Complementary food for dogs, intended for occasional or supplemental feeding. Serve alongside their usual food; this topper is not a complete or balanced diet.
